Description of lesson: Students will be divided into groups of 3 or 4. They are to create (invent) a product that is not on the market as of yet. Once they have decided on the product, they are to create a marketing concept. Students will use the Four P's (marketing mix): Product, Price, Place, and Promotion to complete this activity. This project will be presented to the class.
Goals: Determine a product's target market Understand how the marketing mix could make a product successful Demonstrate team work skills Demonstrate effective oral presentation skills
Collaboration: Each group will choose a leader of the group. The teacher will send the link for the Google Doc via email to each leader. The leader will share their doc with the group members, including to the teacher. Group members will be instructed to complete one of the four P's to research and then complete their portion of the table. The group has to agree with what each person contributed before submitting the final version back to the teacher.
